平遥国際写真祭へ出展いたします

My work 'Spirit of nature'(Animism) will be exhibited the most largest photography festival in China.Pingyao international photography festival is held 19-25 Sep at the World Heritage ancient city ,Pingyao.

Pingyao international photography festival has 1000 exhibitions and 200,000 visitors.

Our group exhibition is curated by Bao Kun.My 8 images are printed 120 x 80 cm and exhibited on 10 m wall.

Bao Kun is a photographer and art critic based in Beijing,Also Standing Committee member and Deputy Director of Theory and Criticism Committee at China Photographers Association.Since 2013 he has been a Cheif Academic Advisor at Pingyao international photography festival.Also he curated my exhibition at Lishui photography festival 2017.

私の作品「Spirit of nature」(Animism)が中国最大の写真祭である「平遥国際写真祭」に出展されます。9月19日-25日の会期で世界遺産の街、平遥で行われます。

平遥国際写真祭は1000の展覧会に20万人が訪れるという規模だと聞いています。

私たちの展示は鮑昆さんのキュレーションで行われ、私の作品は120 x 80 cmの８点が10mの壁面に並ぶ予定です。図録も用意してくれるようです。

鮑昆さんは北京を拠点にする著名な写真家・評論家で、中国写真家協会の理論批評委員会副委員長。北京科技大学の元教授。2013年から平遥の主任学術アドバイザーを務めています。2017年の麗水写真祭にも私の作品を招待いただきました。

平遥は以前にも訪れたことがあるのですが、中世の城壁都市がそのままの雰囲気です。中国の銀行の発祥の地で、瓦屋根、鐘楼のとても美しい街です。

このたびフランス・アルルで開催されるボアオフ写真祭で作品が紹介されることになりました。
私の作品は7月3日の午後10時から野外の特設ステージで「レンズカルチャー・エマージングタレントアワード受賞作品」としてプロジェクション上映されます。
あわせて写真集「The Best of LensCulture Volume 2」も発売予定です。
ボアオフ写真祭はアルル国際写真祭のオープニングウィークのサテライトとして1996年から南仏のアルルの街で行われています。今年は7月3日から8日まで。

この度、レンズカルチャー・エマージングタレントアワードの受賞者によるグループ展がニューヨーク・ブルックリンのクロンプチンギャラリーで行われることになり、私の作品も展示されます。

My work will be at Lishui photography festival in China
中国・麗水写真祭への出展のお知らせ

“My work "E-commerced animals" appears at Lishui photography festival in China.

Lishui photography festival will be held from 15th to 19th November 2017 with the theme of this year “the Image of the Era of Hypermedia”. It is biennale.

My work is curated by Bao Kun who is the Chinese famous critic for photography based in Beijing. Also he is a chief academic advisor of Pingyao International photo festival and a curator Lianzhou international photo festival.

In 2015 Lishui photography festival had 339 exhibition including Sebastiao Salgado and more famous artist.
Lishui city is located 6 hours south west from Shanghai by car driving.When you or your friend visit there,Please enjoy it.

Thank you to Bao Kun and All Lishui team! I am really happy to show my work in one of the most important festival of photography in Asia.

このたび私の作品「E-commerced animals（通販動物）」が中国の麗水写真祭に出展されます。

会期は2017年11月15日から19日まで。今年のテーマは「ハイパーメディア時代のイメージ」だそうです。この写真祭は2年に一回の開催です。

私の作品は北京在住の著名な写真家・評論家の鮑昆（Bao Kun）さんの企画で展示されます。鮑昆さんは北京科学技術大学で教壇に立ち、中国写真家協会の評論委員会ディレクター、平遥国際写真祭では主任学術アドバイザー、連州国際写真祭でもキュレーターを務めています。
麗水写真祭は前回の2015年にはセバスチャン・サルガドを含む著名アーティストの展示など339もの展覧会を行ったそうです。

麗水市は上海から南西へ車で６時間ほどの距離のようです。もし現地に行かれるようでしたら是非ともお楽しみください。
鮑昆さん、麗水写真祭の皆様には、アジア有数の写真祭での展示の機会をいただき感謝の念にたえません。

私の作品がオランダ・アムステルダムで9月22日-24日開催のアートフェア・フェスティバル「Unseen」のメインプログラムである「Living Room」というトークイベントで紹介されます。

ドイツ・ハンブルクのフォトトリエンナーレの芸術監督であるクリストフ・キャンドロウィッツ氏によるプレゼンテーションです。私の作品は最終日の24日（日曜日）の11:30 - 12:45の回に登場するようです。

各地でご紹介いただいている作品「Gibier-The dead animal portrait」だけではなく、今年制作の新作「E-commerced animals」もお目見えと聞いています。

このトークイベントは「Unseen & Undiscovered」を表題に、欧米の有力なキュレーター、評論家、コレクター、エディターが各５人の有望なアーティストを紹介するというものです。

「Unseen」はオランダのFOAM写真美術館が2012年にスタートさせたアートフェアで、毎年2万人以上を動員するそうです。今年は54のギャラリーが集まり、ロジャー・バレンさん、マイケル・ウルフさん、川内倫子さんらの作品が販売されるようです。

「Unseen」というだけあって「こんなの初めて見た！」とワクワクするような最先端の作品が目白押しだと思います。現地におられましたら、是非ともご覧ください。

Group exhibition in Kolga Tbilisi photo festival 2017
コルガ・トビリシ写真祭2017でのグループ展示

My work "Gibier-The dead animal portraits"will be exhibited in Kolga Tbilisi photo festival 2017.The 6 pictures of 900mm × 900mm appear at MoMA Tbilisi in country of Georgia.This festival opens 5th May.

The group exhibition which named Fauna - Wild Beasts, Sheep & Crocodiles is curated by Tina Schelhorn.

Pop-up gallery of this festival will appears Galerie Lichtblick ( http://www.lichtblicknet.com/aktuell/index.html) in Cologne,Germany and Arles,France.

旧ソ連の国ジョージア（グルジア）で5月5日より始まる「コルガ・トビリシ写真祭2017」に出展します。Gibier-The dead animal portraits　より90cm×90cmの作品６点をトビリシ近代美術館（MoMA Tbilisi）に展示いたします。

このグループ展示は「Fauna - Wild Beasts, Sheep & Crocodiles(動物相-野生動物、羊とワニ」と銘打たれ、ドイツ人のティナ・シェルホーン氏のキュレーション(展示企画)によるものです。

ジョージアでの展示のあとは、ドイツ・ケルンのリンシュトブリック・ギャラリー (http://www.lichtblicknet.com/aktuell/index.html) 、フランス・アルルに巡回の予定と聞いています。

この作品を展示することで私が成したいことは、異なる文化を持つ人たちの対話を促すことです。「あなたの文化ではどんなものを食べますか？」そんな会話が始まることで、異文化への偏見が少しでもなくなればと思って制作した作品です。

ロサンゼルスでのスライドショーのお知らせ

My work "Gibier(the dead animal portraits)" has been selected to be part of the special Slideshow Event during the current exhibition of Identity: The List Portraits at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, on December 8th, 2016.

30 artists including me show their works on the 17 ft screen. This slideshow about portraits is curated by Lesly Meyer. Join us for a new slideshow presentation of compelling images from photographers whose work complements the themes explored in IDENTITY: Timothy Greenfield-Sanders The List Portraits.

I am sorry I could not visit Los Angeles. If you have some friends in Los Angeles,Let them know about it.It opens public.

この度私の作品「ジビエ」がロサンゼルスのアネンバーグ写真美術館（Annenberg Space for Photography）で行われるスライドショーに参加することになりました。「Slideshow Night:IDENTITY」は12月8日の午後６時30分から午後８時30分まで30人のアーティストの作品が５メートル以上の大画面で上映されます。

このイベントは現在、同美術館で行われているティモシー・グリーンフィールド・サンダース氏のポートレート作品「IDENTITY」の展示を補完するということで、レズリー・メーヤー学芸員のキュレーションによりポートレート作品が選ばれています。

残念ながら私は現地にてごあいさつできませんが、もしロサンゼルスにご友人などおられましたら、お知らせください。

My work "Gibier" is featured in the next issue #51 of GUP Magazine.This magazine from Amsterdam is known as the sharpest conceptual photography magazine worldwide.

You can check this hot issue at Paris Photo on 10th to 13rd Nov at Grand Palais in Paris.

The next issue #51 themed Rituals that is including Roger Ballen, Julián Barón, Anais Boileau, Gohar Dashti, Arko Datto, Louis De Belle, Elizabeth Heyert, Zanele Muholi, Tomofumi Nakano, Per-Anders Petterssen, Daniel Schumann, Corinne Vionnet and Hiroshi Okamoto.

私の作品「Gibier(ジビエ)」がオランダ・アムステルダム発の「GUPマガジン」51号に特集されます。この雑誌は写真を用いた先鋭的なアート作品を紹介することで世界的に知られています。

GUPマガジンはパリ・フォトにも出展しており、51号は11月10日から13日まで会場であるグランパレで買うことができます。

旧ソ連、カフカス地方の国のジョージア（グルジア）でチョウザメ、アルメニアでザリガニの作品を制作してきました。
両方とも現地では普通の食材でした。

I had this project about a sturgeonin and a crayfish in Georgia and Armenia.

フランス料理の食材などをモチーフにフランス・ブルゴーニュ地方で制作した作品をメインに飾っています。
３月まではジビエ（野生の食材）の季節。
シカ、イノシシ、キジ、ハト、ライチョウなどヨーロッパから仕入れたものがこのお店で楽しめます。
